Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

Job Summary:
Seeking an experienced Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse to join a high-risk maternity unit. The nurse will provide comprehensive care during labor, delivery, and postpartum, ensuring safety and support for mother and newborn.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with healthcare team to manage high-risk labor and delivery cases.
• Assist with sterile speculum exams, NST, reflex checks, and sterile vaginal exams.
• Operate external fetal monitoring and administer IV medications as needed.
• Lead labor management, including vaginal deliveries, forceps, vacuum extraction, and C-sections.
• Provide neonatal and postpartum care, including pain management and surgical support.
• Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to all clinical protocols.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active KS or compact RN license with no pending issues.
• Possess a minimum of 2 years of labor and delivery experience, with previous charge nurse or leadership preferred.
• Certified in ACLS, BLS, and NRP.
• Experienced in high-risk obstetric and neonatal care.
• Skilled in fetal monitoring, medication administration, and surgical procedures.
• Demonstrate strong clinical judgment and ability to handle high-acuity cases.
