RESPONSIBILITIES Lead the design and optimization of space allocation frameworks for assigned retailer's Front-End beverage business, driving the development of data-driven space strategies that maximize category productivity, enhance shopper experience, and support sustainable growth across total single-serve beverages Lead the development of assortment, modular, and space allocation strategies that optimize productivity across Front-End beverage destinations Utilize category management principles, shopper insights, and space analytics to identify opportunities to expand Energy's presence, increase retailer's share of total single-serve beverage sales, and improve overall category performance Own the evolution of Front-End beverage merchandising standards by developing scalable space solutions that improve visibility, availability, and purchase conversion Analyze shopper behavior, store execution, and space productivity metrics to create best-in-class merchandising frameworks that enhance ease of shop and maximize return on retail space Develop and champion a long-term vision for Front End total single serve beverage solutions that enhance convenience, drive incremental purchases, and improve overall trip conversion. Influence future assortment and modular strategies to expand energy's presence, increase retailer market share of total single serve beverage and optimize productivity across Front End Shape the future design, placement, and execution standards for impulse single serve beverage category destinations that elevate the shopper experience and drive profitable growth Anticipate evolving competitive dynamics and proactively develop strategies that increase category productivity while supporting sustainable growth of the Energy segment and total single serve beverages. Identify emerging shopper, category, and retail trends to inform future growth strategies and create competitive advantages for assigned retailer and Red Bull. Assist in the development of holistic, strategic category recommendations taking into account consumer and market trends, assortment, space, merchandising, etc. Customer service and start-up mindset, eager to elevate the entire Energy Drink Category utilizing a shopper-first approach Create and lead shopper and category centric presentations, founded in research and data analysis that support the retailer's category performance objectives Leverage Shopper and Consumer insights to identify key shopper groups or purposes within the channel to inform Walmart growth strategies Apply third party research resources (including Luminate Customer Perception, Numerator, Mintel, Kantar, etc.) to inform and direct strategy for the retailer and the category QUALIFICATIONS 5+ years of experience analyzing/interpreting data and managing highly complex modular systems and thousands of planograms annually 3 to 5 years of experience of customer-facing Category Management (Category Advisor/Captain strongly preferred) Expert analytical and data interpreting skills, space planning and planogram automation; ability to effectively teach, upskill and mentor junior team members Strong communication and superior story telling skills using multiple sources such as primary and secondary research, loyalty card and/or shopper panel as well as syndicated point of sale data (Circana/Nielsen) Strong communication and organizational skills; ability to deliver clear and concise information to both internal and external stakeholders Strong presentation skills and ability to influence and persuade others Strong working knowledge of JDA (Space Planning) and advanced MS Office (PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) including pivot tables, slicers, and formulas to automate and add value to reporting, strong working knowledge of database systems; Tableau/Power PI a plus Self-starter, detail oriented, highly organized, ability to multitask and work in a team-oriented environment Scintilla experience preferred Bachelor's Degree preferred This position is open to U.S. citizens, U.S. permanent residents, or individuals who are currently authorized to work in the United States on a valid visa. The base salary range for this position is $92,000 - $138,000 + cash incentives. Actual salary offers may vary based on work experience. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified.
