Make a meaningful impact supporting students in a dynamic K-8 Day Treatment Program as a Paraprofessional. This full-time contract position offers an opportunity to work closely with children and adolescents, helping them achieve academic and social-emotional success in a focused educational environment. You'll collaborate with licensed educators and specialists dedicated to making a positive difference every day.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience as a paraprofessional or in a similar supportive role within a school setting (preferred).
• Ability to foster a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment for students with varying needs.
• Demonstrated patience, empathy, and adaptability when working with children facing behavioral or emotional challenges.
• Strong communication skills and an eagerness to collaborate as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; relevant certifications or additional education are a plus.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work one-on-one and in small groups to support students’ academic, behavioral, and therapeutic goals.
• Assist with classroom activities, instructional tasks, and behavior intervention strategies as directed by lead teachers and therapists.
• Help implement individualized support plans, reinforcing positive behaviors and providing redirection as needed.
• Engage actively in data collection, progress monitoring, and regular team meetings to review strategies and student needs.
• Promote a nurturing and structured classroom atmosphere that contributes to each student’s success.
