Job Title: IT Administrator Location: Port Huron, MI (Fully Onsite; ~5% local travel to Troy, MI using company vehicle) Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM (On-call / flexibility required for emergencies) Salary: $80,000 - $90,000 / year Position Type: Full-Time / Direct Hire (One-Person Department) Position Overview We are seeking a driven, self-motivated IT Administrator to lead and manage local IT operations. As a standalone IT professional, you will oversee all hands-on technical support, system administration, network infrastructure, and vendor management to ensure seamless operations across the facility. - Day-to-Day IT Support & Operations: Deploy, configure, and maintain PCs, laptops, printers, scanners, mobile devices, servers, and security/access control systems. Provide direct help desk support to local end-users.
- Network & Systems Administration: Manage domains, switches, network port patching, and troubleshooting network outages to ensure maximum uptime.
- ERP & Material Management: Support SAP/ERP database management relating to inventory flow, raw material tracking, and production output.
- Production & Process Integration: Support the integration of IT into production processes and new operational rollouts.
- Department & Financial Management: Oversee IT budgeting, purchasing, asset tracking, vendor contracts, and cost/benefit analyses for new technology initiatives.
- Security & Compliance: Develop and enforce IT security, architecture, and disaster recovery policies. Support ISO 27001, TISAX, ISO 14001, and IATF 16949 audits and compliance standards.
- Self-Starter Mindset: Ability to manage a single-person IT department independently with strong prioritization skills.
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with hardware, domain administration, network infrastructure, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with automotive/manufacturing standards (IATF 16949, ISO 27001, TISAX) is a strong plus.
- Travel & Availability: Must hold a valid driver's license for occasional travel to the Troy location (~1x/month using a company vehicle) and be available for on-call emergencies via company-provided cell phone.
