Orchard Valley Golf Course, located in Aurora, IL, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Part-Time Food Runner! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you will contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Key Responsibilities:

• Assures that all materials used by servers are clean and ready for daily operation
• Maintains knowledge of the position of each diner's chair in the dining rooms and lounges
• Sets the service line with underliner plates, flatware, doilies, linen napkins, and any other items needed for food delivery
• Organizes plates in the window and matches each item with the corresponding ticket for delivery to tables
• Sets tables in accordance with Troon standards
• Ensures that each menu item meets the specifications outlined on each ticket
• Communicates with the chef to correct any items that do not meet specifications before delivery
• Fills and refills water glasses and removes unused place settings
• Clears dishes from guests' tables upon completion of each course
• Clears and resets tables when guests leave, including but not limited to changing tablecloths, brushing chairs, repositioning chairs, and replacing silverware, glassware, and napkins
• Assists servers as needed
• Keeps workstations stocked with necessary items and ingredients
• Cleans workstations, removes trash, and vacuums the dining room
• Incorporates safe work practices in job performance
• Performs other duties as required

Minimum Qualifications:

• One month of related experience or training

• Demonstrates professionalism, cleanliness, and attention to detail
• Regular and reliable attendance, including weekends and holidays
