Day Warehouse Associate
Join Loffredo Fresh Foods as a full time Day Warehouse Associate based out of our Kansas City, MO Branch. We are a local, family-owned food and produce distributor that has proudly served the Midwest region for over 130 years. We distribute to 11 different states across our 6 locations. Loffredo Fresh Foods believes that our employees are the key to a successful future. As a Day Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring that all customer orders are accurately picked and packed for delivery. You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse, selecting items according to order specifications, and preparing them for shipment. Your attention to detail and efficiency will help maintain the high standards of service our customers expect.
Pay: $16 to $17 an hour depending on experience
Schedule:
- Hours: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM, Monday - Wednesday, Friday, Saturday
- Days Off: Thursday & Sunday
What we look for:
- Previous warehouse and pallet jack experience preferred
- Able to work in a refrigerated environment for 8+ hours
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and 75+ lbs. occasionally
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Able to take direction from all levels of management
- Ability to work independently within a team setting
What you'll do:
- SAFETY FIRST. Must be able to safely operation warehouse equipment at all times and follow all safety guidelines
- Accurately select and pack orders for shipment, both internally and externally
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- All other assigned duties
