Summer Intern

Company Description Girls of Excellence, Inc. (GOE) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering girls ages 8-18 in grades 3-12 through supportive services and transformative programs. GOE partners with schools, community-based organizations, group homes, and institutions within the juvenile justice system. Their programs focus on group mentoring, life skills, personal development, and community service to inspire growth and success among young girls. Role Description This is a part-time hybrid Summer Intern role based in Atlanta, GA, with the flexibility to work remotely for certain tasks. The intern will assist in organizing and supporting various programs, manage administrative tasks, and collaborate with staff to ensure successful implementation of mentorship and community service initiatives. Responsibilities may also include research, social media management, assisting with events, and preparing reports and resources as needed. Qualifications Strong communication, writing, and editing skills Organizational and time management proficiency Experience in assisting with event planning and program coordination Proactive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a team setting Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and basic social media platforms Passion for youth development and community service-focused initiatives Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree related to social work, education, nonprofit management, or a related field Experience working with youth or in nonprofit settings is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Girls of Excellence, Inc.
