Come be a part of an exciting journey at Daikin Applied, where innovation and excellence drive our every endeavor!Location: Staunton, VA - In-OfficeYour Responsibilities:Monitor production activities to eliminate delays and ensure adherence to production and shipping schedulesAssist in carrying out production objectives at the lowest cost, consistent with the organization's quality requirementsAssure safety and product quality while improving production proceduresCoordinate workflow with the various departments involvedReport damaged and defective equipment to managementTrain other employees in day-to-day proceduresMaintain quality/quantity standards regarding outputAnalyze work orders to estimate working hours and create machining schedules that meet both internal and external needsInterpret specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers, and assign dutiesPlan the flow of materials through department according to work ordersInterface with others in the organization to ensure customer deadlines are metInspect and measure parts and products to verify conformance to specificationsDirect workers in adjusting machines and equipment to repair products that fail to meet standardsEstablish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedulesDevelop, recommend, and implement measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of productSuggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crewAnalyze and resolves work problems or assists workers in solving work problemsMaintain time and production recordsAssist with capital equipment justifications for machine tools and process technology to improve quality, cost, and cycle timesOther duties as assignedYour Qualifications:High School diploma or equivalent5+ years of related experienceBachelor's degree in related field (preferred)3+ years of direct supervisory experience (preferred)Your Benefits:Daikin Applied offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements:Multiple medical insurance plan options + dental and vision insurance401K retirement plan with employer matchPaid time off and company paid holidaysPaid sick time in accordance with the federal, state and local lawTuition Reimbursement after 6 months of continuous serviceWork visa sponsorship is not available for this position.The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $66,000 to $108,800 in VA. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls.
