Position: Full Time
Location: Alpharetta, GA -Remote
Required Qualifications.
Experience
- 10+ years of progressive software engineering experience with a strong focus on native Android application development.
- Proven experience leading technical initiatives, driving architectural decisions, and delivering enterprise-scale mobile applications.
- Demonstrated success working within Agile development environments and cross-functional teams.
Technical Expertise
- Expert-level proficiency in Kotlin and Java within the Android ecosystem.
- Deep experience designing and implementing modern Android architectures, including:
- MVVM (Model-View-ViewModel)
- MVI (Model-View-Intent)
- Clean Architecture
- Strong expertise with Dependency Injection frameworks such as Dagger and Hilt.
- Advanced knowledge of:
- Android performance profiling
- Memory management
- Battery optimization
- Concurrency management using Kotlin Coroutines and Flow
- Hands-on experience with Inter-Process Communication (IPC) using AIDL (Android Interface Definition Language) for system-level service integration, particularly on custom hardware and point-of-sale (POS) platforms.
- Expertise in local data persistence solutions including Room, SQLite, and DataStore.
- Experience implementing and managing automated CI/CD pipelines, application release processes, and deployments through Google Play Console or enterprise MDM platforms.
- Education
- Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline
