Data Analyst Asc - Level 1

What You Will Be Doing Perform data analysis to support F‑35 Sustainment, collecting, processing, and analyzing data to develop immersive stories that answer business questions. Use proven statistical methods to draw insights from data and translate those insights into actions that drive business results. Find novel data sources to enrich analysis and apply mathematical and statistical methods to business and risk management problems. Support coordination and development of problem statements, modeling approaches, and ground rules and assumptions (GR&A). Work under the guidance of a technical lead to perform analysis establishing a total cost-to-performance picture for Sustainment. Analyze fielded performance, develop solutions for forecasting, root‑cause analysis, evaluation of potential solutions, and assessment of corrective actions. Mine, process, and summarize data, and manage quality assurance of data scraping, query databases for stakeholder requests, and triage data issues for timely resolution. Prepare insights in narrative or visual forms, including dashboards, and assist in automation tasks for supplier data reports and team process improvements. Experience in scripting (e.g., Python, R), statistics (descriptive and inferential), data munging, and/or data visualization. Analytical skills and understanding of system databases, data elements, and/or application software solutions to optimize data gathering and analysis. Experience with automation, artificial intelligence (AI) and/or machine learning (ML). Desired Skills Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline (Industrial, Mechanical, Aerospace, Electrical, Physics, Data Science, Data Analysis, or Mathematics) with emphasis in modeling and statistical methods. Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau. Experience collecting and compiling datasets from disparate sources into required data structures. Computer programming experience with SAS or other high-level languages. Ability to query databases using Structured Query Language (SQL). Experience in data structures and hierarchies. Experience with MS Office tool suite. Experience managing data quality and configuration control. Experience analyzing supply chain networks. Ability to interact with customers to work through data issues and discrepancies. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a collaborative, team‑based environment. Project management and agile framework experience. Continuous improvement experience and proactive problem solving. Experience with SAP/HANA. Security Clearance Statement This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration. Work Schedules Part‑time remote telework combined with on‑site work at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. Schedule: 4 × 10‑hour days, 3 days off per week.
