DIGITAL PRINT SHIPPER

1st Shift (8:00am - 4:00pm)

Job Summary

Prepare, sort, label and ship POD orders sent through the company shipping system. Will also utilize automated shrink-wrapping equipment at times.

Basic Qualifications:

• Good organizational, time-management and interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and Word applications
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability and willingness to work overtime as required
• High School Diploma or GED
• Frequent kneeling, stooping
• Frequent turning, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and standing is required

Schedule: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.

• 1st shift: 8am - 4pm
• 2nd shift : 4pm - 12am (considered)
  • Shift premium: 8% of base pay paid on all hours worked on 2nd shift

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Wrap, label, sort and secondary pack journal orders to customer and vendor requirements
• Prep, sort and carton pack book orders according to customer and vendor requirements
• Operate automated and manual shrink-wrapping equipment to production standards and quality
• Accurately communicate to other co-workers the status of orders being processed
• Analyze and interpret print-on-demand sheets as well as label ship codes to thoroughly understand the requirements of each customer order
• Demonstrate a working knowledge of shipping software and postal scales
• Cross train to function as a backup on other digital equipment (ie, trimmer, magnum)
• Complete all necessary paperwork, process and ship customer products in a timely fashion
• Maintain accurate record keeping on TSP timesheets, excel spreadsheets and all related digital systems
• Constantly monitor quality of finished product to ensure customer's satisfaction
• Operate hand jack, three-hole drill and assist in bindery/finishing areas as needed
• Assist with housekeeping in the POD shipping area
• Performs other duties as assigned.
