Mechanic

MVP Holdings is a privately owned energy logistics company headquartered in Wichita, KS. MVP and its subsidiaries provide gathering, transportation, processing, storage, distribution, marketing and other midstream services to independent oil and natural gas producers, refiners of petroleum and products and other market participants located throughout the United States. We are currently looking for a Mechanic to join our team in Electra, TX. This position is responsible for all aspects of repairs, preventative maintenance, testing and identifying maintenance issues in the pipelines and gathering systems. Essential Functions Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on pipeline mechanical equipment. Inspect, diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical systems at pipeline facilities, compressor stations, and other operational assets. Conduct routine inspections to identify equipment deficiencies, leaks, excessive wear, and other mechanical issues. Install, replace, align, and test mechanical components including bearings, seals, couplings, belts, motors, valves, and piping assemblies. Complete work orders, maintenance records, and inspection documentation accurately. Maintain spare parts inventory and notify supervision of parts or materials replenishment. Work collaboratively with Operations, Maintenance, and contractor personnel to support safe and reliable pipeline operations. Ensure all work is performed in compliance with company policies, OSHA regulations, DOT/PHMSA pipeline safety regulations, environmental requirements, and applicable industry standards. Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment while promoting a strong safety culture. Other Functions Complete other duties and responsibilities as reasonably assigned by management.
