Direct Support Professional (DSP)

Location: Philadelphia, PA 19115 Compensation Rate: Up to $20/hour, depending on experience Schedule: Flexible, with availability for weekdays, overnight shifts, weekends, and other variable hours as needed

Job Summary: We are seeking caring, compassionate, and energetic Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to provide supportive living services to individuals with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDDs). This role involves assisting with daily living activities, promoting independence, and offering companionship and emotional support in a safe, respectful, and structured environment.

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (required)
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with individuals with IDDs
• Valid driver's license

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist individuals with daily living tasks
• Provide personal care and hygiene support
• Transport and accompany individuals to medical appointments or community outings
• Administer prescribed medications (if certified)
• Maintain accurate documentation of services provided
• Offer companionship and basic emotional or psychological support
• Help maintain a safe, clean, and supportive living environment
