RN - Postpartum Profession: Client Child Health (MCH) Specialty: Post Partum Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12 hours Hours per Shift: 07:15 AM to 07:45 PM Experience: 1-year recent full-time equivalent experience License: Registered Nurse License (in the state where care is provided) Certifications: Basic Life Support, Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program Must-Have: Demonstrated ability to perform electronic fetal monitoring. Demonstrated IV skills and ability to perform lab draws. Demonstrated knowledge of high-risk medication administration. Demonstrated ability to perform urine point of care testing. Demonstrated knowledge of capillary blood glucose testing. Demonstrated knowledge of IStat. Demonstrated ability to perform adult cardiac monitoring. Demonstrated knowledge of newborn monitors including pulse oximetry and cardiac monitoring. Demonstrated ability to perform heel sticks and venipuncture on newborns. Demonstrated knowledge of newborn medication including ability to perform IV administration and maintenance. Demonstrated knowledge of bili-blankets and lights. Demonstrated knowledge of radiant warmers. Demonstrated knowledge to support teaching and post-operative bladder training. Demonstrated knowledge to support maternal-newborn teaching.
