About the Role

The Company is seeking a Head of Amazon to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for understanding and maximizing the funnel throughput from omni-channel ad spend to Amazon revenue. This role requires a deep involvement in both the strategic planning and the hands-on execution of initiatives to increase Amazon revenue per session. The Head of Amazon will also be tasked with building and leading a high-performing team to create the most effective Amazon brand-capture engine. Key responsibilities include increasing the percentage of Amazon revenue compared to omnichannel ad spend, treating the Amazon channel as a conversion rate optimization channel, and being highly creative in monetizing impressions into high-ROI sales. Applicants for the Head of Amazon position at the company should be prepared to take on a demanding role that involves working 6 days a week, 10 hours a day, and a commitment to continuous learning. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of scaling high 8- / 9-figure Amazon departments and experience with Amazon-first brands. They must be adept at building and leading teams, and be able to work within a clearly defined hierarchical leadership structure. The role also requires a high level of personal discipline, coachability, and alignment with executive direction. The Head of Amazon will be expected to achieve specific revenue and growth targets, and to establish a predictable Amazon growth system that consistently meets these targets.
