Job Summary

W e are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler to support daily warehouse, shipping, receiving, and inventory operations. This position is responsible for the safe and efficient handling, movement, storage, and fulfillment of products and materials while following established company policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Job Description

• Inspect and accept incoming shipments against supplier packing lists and/or purchase orders.
• Verify that received materials are in satisfactory condition and accurately report any discrepancies.
  
• Receive, label, store, pick, pack, issue, dispose of, and cycle count inventory items.
  
• Complete material fulfillment requests from internal divisions or departments.
  
• Ensure outgoing inventory is properly packed and accompanied by accurate and complete documentation.
  
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support periodic physical inventory counts.
  
• Perform inventory cycle counting and assist with identifying and resolving inventory discrepancies.
  
• Optimize warehouse bin locations to improve efficiency, organization, and safety.
  
• Perform kitting, Kanban point-of-use replenishment, and other materials-management activities as directed.
  
• Investigate and resolve warehouse and inventory issues as requested by the Supervisor.
  
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse and shipping/receiving environment.
  
• Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment after completing required training and certification.
  
• Follow all applicable company policies, including personnel, quality, health, safety, and environmental requirements.
  
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Shift: 1st Shift - 0800-1630

S kills Required

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Forklift experience preferred, including: Sit-down forklift, 3-way narrow aisle forklift, Swing reach equipment
• Must be comfortable working at heights.
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions and potentially getting dirty.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Reliable transportation required.
• Good attendance and dependable work habits.
• Positive, willing-to-work attitude.
• Ability to safely perform physical warehouse and material-handling duties.

Preferred Skills

• SAP experience.
• Inventory control experience.
• Swing reach experience.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and inventory processes.

Education

• High school diploma or GED required

Pay Rate

• $20 per ho ur  (Compensation is offered based on experience, skills, and market factors)
