Duration: 6+ Months

Shift Information:

• Part-Time Night Shift (Weekend): 12-hour shifts per week, with the ability to pick up more hours as needed.
• Part-Time Day Shift (Weekends): 12-hour shifts per week, with the ability to pick up more hours as needed.

Qualifications:

• This position is considered Entry Level.
• Candidate would need to be able to read and speak English.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Observe patients to prevent them from falling, inflicting harm to self or others.
• Maintain continuous observation of assigned patients and promptly report any changes in behavior or condition to the appropriate nursing staff.
• May assist the assigned Certified Nurse Aide with basic ADL's for patient (ex: assisting with bath, help turning a patient).
• Provide assistance with basic patient needs while maintaining patient safety and dignity.
• Help maintain a safe and clean environment around the patient's bedside.
• Follow hospital policies, safety procedures, and instructions provided by nursing staff.
• Communicate patient concerns or safety risks to the assigned nursing staff.
• Remain attentive and alert throughout the assigned shift.
