Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,556 per week

LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Lebanon, New Hampshire.

Job Description & Requirements

• Specialty: PCU - Progressive Care Unit
• Discipline: RN
• Duration: 13 weeks
• 36 hours per week
• Shift: 12 hours, rotating
• Employment Type: Travel

48 beds of step-down level of care for cardiology, EP, and cardiac surgical patients.

Cardio Thoracic surgical patients, pre and post CHF, telemetry, vascular, Pulmonary HTN, temporary pacers

RN Patient ratios on days and nights: Days 1:3, Nights 1:4-5, depending on acuity

MedSurg:

- Chest tubes

- Tubes

- Drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone

- Lines/Tubes/drains for post-surgical patients

- Trachs/Laryngectomies

- Telemetry

- Complex wounds

- Central Lines – care and maintenance and blood draws

Stepdown:

- Hemodynamic monitoring

- Invasive BP monitoring through arterial lines

- Nitro, primacor, dobutamine, dopamine drips

- Bi-PAP/ C-PAP

- Low dose pressors, vasoactive meds, and inotropes

- Trachs

- Complex wounds

- Lines/ tubes/ drains for post-surgical patients

- External pacers, epicardial wires, TR bands

#HCRK Job Title - RN Progressive Care Unit Certifications - BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Active NH or Compact RN License Requirements - Must have 2 years of recent RN Progressive care experience.
