Shift & Schedule Monday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Thursday: Closed Friday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Saturday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Sunday: Closed Requirements Valid Dental Hygienist License for the State of New Jersey. X-Ray Certification is required. Proficiency with Dentrix dental software. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical coding. Familiarity with infection control protocols and sterilization procedures. Ability to perform general dentistry tasks with precision. Comfortable working with patients of all ages, specifically possessing knowledge of pediatric dentistry principles. Preferences Experience with Eaglesoft software. Previous experience in a role requiring chairside assisting or "four-handed" dentistry techniques. Job Description Hygiene Services: Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling, polishing, and removing plaque and tartar buildup. Patient Assessment: Review medical histories, monitor vital signs, and assess current dental conditions to inform effective treatment plans. Diagnostic Imaging: Capture and develop high-quality X-rays while strictly adhering to infection control and aseptic techniques. Patient Education: Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and post-treatment care to promote long‑term health. Clinical Support: Assist with chairside procedures and collaborate with the dentist to ensure a smooth workflow and patient comfort. Documentation: Maintain accurate medical records, documenting procedures and patient responses in EMR systems (Dentrix). Safety Compliance: Follow HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and uphold strict sterilization protocols.
