Summer 2027 Intern - Program Management & Business Operations

An internship with our company is a great opportunity to build your skillset and explore your career interests. Our summer student internship is a 10 to 14 week program that starts in mid May and ends in August. During your internship, you'll work on impactful projects that make a difference at our company, with our customers, and in our communities. You'll also gain exposure to different areas of our business and have numerous opportunities for networking and coaching. Interns may be eligible for a one-time hiring bonus to assist with housing costs depending upon proximity to our company office location. Compensation: $25.00/Hour As a Program Management & Business Operations intern in Operational Shared Services, you will support the team responsible for improving portfolio visibility, program management practices, and business operations across a complex, cross-functional environment. You will report to a leader within the Program Management team and contribute to projects such as portfolio analysis, process documentation, reporting, knowledge management, and AI-enabled productivity improvements. Your work will create practical tools and durable resources that help the team operate more effectively beyond the internship.

Primary Accountabilities

Develop an understanding of our business, corporate culture and structure to support your work. Contribute creative ideas and strategic approaches in response to changing situations. Support portfolio and initiative tracking by organizing information on scope, ownership, milestones, dependencies, risks, and outcomes. Gather and analyze program or operational data and translate findings into clear dashboards, summaries, and leadership-ready presentations. Document current-state processes, workflows, decisions, and lessons learned; identify opportunities to simplify or improve how work is completed. Create or enhance reusable program management resources, including templates, playbooks, governance materials, action logs, and knowledge repositories. Support meeting preparation and follow-up by synthesizing information, capturing decisions and action items, and maintaining organized documentation. Research and test practical uses of Microsoft 365, Copilot, automation, and other productivity tools to improve team efficiency and collaboration.

Specialized Knowledge & Skills Requirements Must be in student status at an accredited 4-year college or university during the internship, graduating August 2028 or later. Must be pursuing a Bachelors, Masters, or PhD. Major/program must align with internship role. Currently pursuing a degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Business Analytics, Operations Management, Organizational Leadership, Organizational Development, Communications, Information Systems, or a related field. Strong analytical, organizational, written communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to synthesize complex or ambiguous information into clear outputs. Experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and collaboration tools; experience in Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power BI, SharePoint, or similar tools is a plus. Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities while working both independently and collaboratively. Coursework, project experience, or interest in program or project management, business operations, process improvement, data analysis, technology, or strategy.
