Data ModelerJob Location: Columbus, OH (100% Onsite - local only, no relocation)Employment Type: FTEKey Technology: Excel, Visio, MySQL, Python, Oracle, Big Query, Talend, Power BI, AxoniusJob Responsibilities:Design and implement data models that aid the understanding of critical data streamsWork closely with cybersecurity experts and data scientists to ensure our global data architecture supports and enhances our cybersecurity measuresDesign, implementation, and/or management of comprehensive data models to support data management objectives.Analyze and translate business needs into long-term data model solutions.Evaluate and improve existing data structure to enhance data value and identify targets for risk reduction.Work with cybersecurity analysts to integrate security measures into data models.Skills and Experience Required:3-10 years of experienceExperience with data modeling tools such as: Excel, Visio, MySQL, Python, Oracle, Big Query, Talend, Power BI, Axonius.Proven experience in data modeling, data architecture, or a similar role.Strong understanding of database structure principles and data modeling standards.Understanding of PowerBIAble to flag, troubleshoot and work in data lakesKnow how to develop and deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiencesAble to learn through experimentation when tackling new problems, using both successes and failures as learning fodderAble to take a broad view when approaching issues; using a global lensDesired: Experience with IrwinEducation: Bachelor's or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Data Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
