Job Title Student Services Program Coordinator I (Academic Coach/Tutor) Location: Columbia Department: ATH Academic Support Services Salary: $20.00 Employment: Part Time, 29 hours per week Work schedule: Willing to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the department. Hours are need based, and dependent upon student‑athlete’s tutoring requirements. Job Summary Provides one‑on‑one guidance and tutoring to academically critical student‑athletes. Assists with study and organizational skills, time management, and goal setting, operating in a one‑on‑one setting. Qualifications Undergraduate, Master’s Degree and/or Teacher’s Professional Certification. Applicants with current teacher certification may qualify for a higher hourly wage based on the University of South Carolina wage rate; applicant must provide a copy of the certificate.
