RARE OPPORTUNITY TO LEVERAGE STRONG TAX TRUST AND INDIVIDUAL EXPERTISE – This is a unique short-term project for someone with strong tax compliance experience as it relates to individual and trust tax matters to assist this family-owned company with time sensitive tax returns.

OPPORTUNITY TO SUPPORT DURING COMPLIANCE TAX SEASON – This role presents the opportunity to support the compliance process as well as manage and prepare review extensions and returns.

REMOTE FLEXIBILITY/LENGTH OF PROJECT – This project is 5 weeks in duration starting mid-March. This can be done fully remote, working an average of 40 hours each week.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review 1040 and 1041 federal income tax returns using tax software

Requirements

• Strong tax trust and individual compliance review experience
• Experience preparing and reviewing 1040 and 1041 income tax returns.
• Must be detailed oriented with a strong track record of getting up to speed quickly, working in collaborative team-based environments as well as the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Willingness to assist with the preparation of 1040 and 1041 returns is preferred
• Experience working in a family office is a plus
