Position Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Bike Patrol, West Hollywood, CA. Pay Rate: $21.86 / Hour Job Schedule Friday 09:00 AM - 05:30 PM (Fixed weekly shift). How This Role Works Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts"): hired for a designated site and weekly shift requiring a six‑month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: pick up extra shifts via the scheduling platform to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Responsibilities Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate relevant information to supervisors, staff, and/or first responders as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and observe unusual conditions. Monitor access points and public areas, document security‑related incidents and/or observations, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, or suspicious activity according to site procedures. Support a professional presence at a public‑facing location by assisting with directions, answering general questions, and helping to address routine concerns with courtesy and professionalism. Minimum Requirements Must be able to ride a bike. Ability to ride a bike for long periods of time is preferred. Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. A guard card and/or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
