Project Manager Posted: 12 June 2026 Location: Arlington County, Arlington, VA Reference: 1007700 Job Description ONSITE 3 DAYS A WEEK IN ARLINGTON, VA Responsibilities This position plans, manages and directs business and technology teams to implement technology and business solutions from project initiation and planning through the execution and successful implementation. Requires specialized expertise in project management and business analysis disciplines. Interprets internal and external business issues between stakeholders and recommends best practices. Solves complex problems and develops innovative solutions. Works independently with guidance in only the most complex situations. This position will be based in Arlington, VA with potential travel to Lincoln, NE and work a hybrid schedule with 3 "in office" days and 2 "work from home" days. Under general oversight, plans and manages all aspects of medium to large size and complexity business and technology projects from initiation to successful implementation on time, in budget and to scope (or assists on implementing more complex projects). Projects typically involve system technology changes and IT coordination involving multiple systems, business process and procedure changes of multiple business areas and change management. Develops and implements project management plans including management of scope, quality, risk, communications, stakeholders, sponsor and a detailed project schedule. Plans and manages the work performed by the project team to define business requirements; perform impact, risk and stakeholder analysis; develop levels of effort; "as is" and "to be" business process analysis; data migration and validation; testing and validation including test strategy, environment set-up, user acceptance testing, parallel testing and integrated end-to-end testing; change management; process and procedure updates; training and communications; cut-over and production validation. Primary lead in the planning, management and communication of progress tracking and corrective actions, project status, change control process, go-to-green plans, project documentation, retrospectives, and other project activities. Proactively identifies risks and problems and recommends and implements solutions. Independently manages projects that may vary in number and are generally medium to large and complexity involving multiple systems and business areas. Nice to have Skills Experience as a Project Manager/Business Analyst in an insurance, financial management, employee benefit administration or related field Experience in a complex technology and data infrastructure that includes the integration of multiple core product platforms and includes a blending of customized/configured vendor supplied systems, in-house developed systems and cloud-based/on-premises systems Experience as a Scrum Master Experience in managing software development projects in a Cloud environment Top 3 Things We Are Looking For Communication and Relationship Building: Ability to clearly communicate vision, and deliverables across multiple teams to keeps projects well organized.
