Job Purpose

JVM Solutions is hiring a full-time and PRN Medical Assistant to support a Health Unit in Moffett Field, California. This role ensures to serve and protect patients by maintaining a safe and secure work and patient care environment.

This role involves providing healthcare services in compliance with company policies, state and federal regulations, and professional standards of care. Key responsibilities include:

• Clinical support staff member that provides both clinical and administrative support.
• Perform all medical duties authorized by the contractor medical authority, such as taking vital signs, recording patient histories, drawing blood, or preparing injured patients for treatment.
• AED maintenance and monitoring to include battery or pad replacement.
• Participation in the Stop the Bleed Program, with potential to become an instructor.
• Maintaining patient confidentiality and ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Assists in the Fitness Center as needed.
• Supporting operational readiness through equipment inspections, supply management, and workstation maintenance.
• Assisting with business operations, including scheduling, patient correspondence, and inventory tracking.
• Documenting patient care using the Electronic Health Record System (EHRS).
• Preparing patients for clinic visits, taking clinical histories, and assisting with assessments such as vital signs, ECGs, spirometry, and vision testing.
• Supporting health and wellness programs, such as flu vaccine campaigns and health fairs.
• Maintaining professional knowledge through ongoing training and development.
• Assisting with special events, emergency response, and other duties as needed.
• Cleans and sterilizes clinic instruments.

• California State Certified Medical Assistant with 1 year relevant experience or 3 years relevant experience non-certified
• First Aide, BLS/AED

• Must pass a criminal background check.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Average Pay rate

• $18-$25
