Organizational Development Specialist

The Organizational Development Specialist is a new position at the Vermont Department of Taxes supporting a 200-person operation in Montpelier. The role combines internal communications, training coordination, and knowledge management—creating content about career development opportunities, documenting institutional processes, and facilitating employee growth initiatives. You'll work collaboratively with colleagues across the department to design training materials, manage an internal knowledge base, and produce reporting on organizational development activities. Key qualifications Bachelor's degree in education, organizational development, leadership development, public administration, human resources, communications, or related field 1+ years experience in training/staff development, teaching, human resources, internal communications, or needs assessment (or 2+ years if no degree) Knowledge of organizational development principles and adult learning theory Experience with internal communications, including website design and mass email platforms Excellent written communication and proofreading skills Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines #J-18808-Ljbffr
