Epilepsy/Neurophysiology-EEG Specialist
Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport and Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center Shreveport are currently seeking an Epilepsy/Neurophysiology-EEG Specialist to join our outstanding Academic Neurology department and Level 4 NAEC-accredited Epilepsy Center. Must be board certified/board eligible and be eligible for a Louisiana license. Leadership opportunities available to qualified candidates.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality clinical care to patients with neurological conditions.
- Medical student and Neurology resident education, including supervision in clinics, grand rounds, Epilepsy conferences and didactic.
- Participation in departmental activities and contributing to the growth of the Epilepsy program.
- Mentoring and providing clinical expertise to faculty and residents.
Resources & Facilities:
- Level 4 National Association of Epilepsy Centers-accredited Epilepsy Center with 5 adult EMU beds
- Multi-disciplinary Care
- Academic Medical department with the largest concentration of Subspecialty Neurologists in the Ark-La-Tex region.
- School of Medicine Faculty and collaborations with the Graduate School and Allied Health
