Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time - Overnight in Fort Mill, SC , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will communicate professionally, respond to security-related concerns, and deliver outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial services location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the business location, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate incident, patrol, and shift documentation.
• Communicate professionally with site personnel, visitors, and emergency responders while supporting a professional environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
