Description

American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of experience in outpatient, inpatient, ED, and ICU CT imaging settings.

Details

• 13-week assignment in the CT Tech unit
• Night shift, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, Wednesday through Friday
• Outpatient, inpatient, ED, and ICU experience required; NICU and PICU experience preferred
• Pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations; neonatal and infant experience preferred
• PACS and contrast experience required; biopsies and IV starts preferred
• Performs abdomen and pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal CT studies
• Special procedures may include aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, colonography, CT arthrography, drainage, myelography, transplant studies, and vascular CTA
• Uses GE and Siemens CT equipment
• Calcium scoring and cardiac CT experience preferred
• May float to any facility campus as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience required
• BLS and ARRT CT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience preparing and/or administering contrast media required; peripheral IV starts preferred
• Level I Trauma experience preferred
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred

• Candidates must pass a compliance EKG exam with up to two attempts allowed
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• RTO requests must be submitted with the initial application; post-submission RTO requests will not be accepted
