Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (IMCU/Progressive Care) – New York

Start Date: December 14, 2026

Location: Utica, New York

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Night shift, 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, 48 hours per week. Floating to other units as needed based on hospital requirements.

Highlights:

• Work in a busy 64-bed Intermediate Care Unit with 15 designated neurology beds
• Diverse case mix including neuro, cardiac, trauma, respiratory (COPD), DKA, sepsis, MI, cardiovascular stepdown, and post-operative patients
• Experience with specialty equipment including temporary pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, Neptune, and chronic ventilators with respiratory therapy support
• EPIC electronic medical records system utilized facility-wide
• Adult patient population (18 years and older)
• Travel and local candidates welcomed

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted New York RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 2+ years of recent experience in IMCU/Progressive Care Unit or equivalent stepdown environment
• Documented travel nursing experience preferred
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• NURSYS report with verification of all active RN licenses and RTO (Right to Operate) documentation
• Valid driver's license with current address documentation
