Position Overview

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for performing interventional radiology (IR) procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety throughout the process. The role requires knowledge of IR techniques and the ability to administer moderate sedation when necessary.

Unit Specifics

• Number of Beds: 590
• Documentation System: Meditech
• Type of Equipment: Siemens
• On Call Requirements: 10-15 days a month

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct interventional radiology procedures with precision and care.
• Administer moderate sedation as required, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Maintain and operate imaging equipment in accordance with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care.

Qualifications

• Required: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year in a similar role.
• Advanced skills in moderate sedation required.

Additional Information

This position is contract-based and includes a varying schedule that may include weekends. Responsibilities may involve floating to different departments as needed.
