Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing to join our team at Envive Healthcare of Sullivan in Sullivan, Indiana. As a Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for coordinating resident care and leading a team of nursing professionals in providing high-quality care to our patients. About the Role

As the Director of Nursing, you will be responsible for:

• Coordinating resident care with a "hands-on" management style

• Developing, reviewing, and revising nursing and clinical policies

• Conducting employee performance evaluations and disciplinary situations to ensure quality care of residents

• Leading in the recruitment of qualified staff by conducting interviews

• Making independent decisions when circumstances warrant

• Focusing on customer service and collaboration with other departments to develop, support, and coordinate patient care and related functions

• Promoting an atmosphere of respect, professional growth, and encouragement for all nursing staff members and assuring regulatory standards and company goals are met or exceeded

• Responsible for cost controls by monitoring the use of supplies and equipment

Director of Nursing Qualifications and Skills

• Strong supervisory experience (3 years required)

• Experience in Long Term Care (5 years required)

• Registered Nurse License (Required)

• CPR/First Aid Certification (Required)
