What Youll Do

Working alongside nurses and other healthcare professionals youll provide direct patient care and support that promotes comfort safety and recovery. Responsibilities include:

• Assisting patients with personal care needs such as bathing oral hygiene toileting and linen changes
• Supporting mobility ambulation repositioning and transfers
• Monitoring and documenting vital signs and patient observations
• Recording important information in patient charts
• Providing compassionate care and emotional support to patients and families
• Contributing to a safe positive and patient-centered care environment

Your care and encouragement play an important role in helping patients achieve successful recoveries and regain their independence.

This medical-surgical unit specializes in caring for patients undergoing orthopedic procedures including hip knee and shoulder replacements. Qualifications

Required:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Healthcare Provider certification within six months of hire

Preferred:

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
