Job Summary

Pharmacist, Inpatient – Denver, CO. The inpatient pharmacist provides pharmaceutical care for adult patients during overnight shifts in a progressive pharmacy environment. Responsibilities include medication order verification, clinical consultation, laboratory review, and antimicrobial stewardship.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week. Shifts are consecutive from Wednesday night through Wednesday morning, followed by one week off.
• Required Qualifications: At least 6 months of current pharmacist experience; inpatient pharmacist experience caring for adult patients.
• Preferred Qualifications: Advanced training, residency, board certification, experience with Meditech, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include order verification, clinical consultation, laboratory review, and antimicrobial stewardship. Adult and pediatric night-shift pharmacists divide the workload evenly. The pharmacy workflow integrates an electronic medical record and medication safety software. Assignment dates are 11/30/2026 through 03/01/2027.
