Job Description

An Auto Mechanic plays a critical role in maintaining vehicle performance and safety by performing diagnostic and repair tasks. Working as part of a team and reporting to the shop foreman, this position involves direct customer interaction and ensuring high-quality vehicle maintenance with no travel requirements. There are opportunities for advancement to lead mechanic or supervisory roles for those who demonstrate expertise and leadership.

Responsibilities

Perform vehicle diagnostics and identify mechanical issues
Repair and maintain engines and related systems
Troubleshoot electrical system malfunctions
Interact professionally with customers to explain repairs
Ensure quality assurance standards are met on all services

Required Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years’ experience in automotive repair

Preferred Qualifications

Technical certification in automotive repair
Expertise in automotive diagnostics, engine repair, and electrical systems
Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
Effective time management abilities
