Investment Banking Analyst/Associate

Position: Investment Banking Analyst / Associate Company: TenOaks Energy Advisors, LLC / RedOaks Energy Advisors, LLC Location: Houston, TX Energy focused Investment banking firm seeking an Investment Banking Analyst/Associate to support the continued growth of our finance team. The Energy Investment Banking Group is primarily responsible for developing, structuring, and executing a broad range of advisory assignments and financial transactions. Our focus is on the energy sector with expertise in A&D, power/infrastructure M&A, private financing, joint ventures, and valuation services. Responsibilities: Take a lead role in the development of marketing materials for sales or financings Develop, produce and deliver proposals and presentations to clients and prospects, which exhibit broad knowledge of IB product solutions and underlying components. Actively participate in drafting sessions and due diligence meetings Build valuation analyses and financial models, including net asset value, comparable public company, and precedent transaction work Conduct industry research and analysis to assist in the identification and/or analysis of investment banking business opportunities Coordinate and participate in calls and meetings with clients and potential buyers Manage the virtual data room for sell-side engagements Build and maintain buyer lists and track outreach from initial contact through confidentiality agreement execution, offer, and close Work with third-party reserve reports and client engineering data – production histories, decline curves, type curves and EUR estimates – as inputs to asset-level cash flow models Build asset-level economic models incorporating working and net revenue interests, operating costs, differentials and capital schedules Evaluate and compare incoming bids across price, structure, contingencies and effective-date adjustments, and summarize them for client decision-making Support closing – purchase and sale agreement schedules, preliminary and final settlement statements, and coordination with counsel and the client Use industry data platforms (Enverus, state regulatory data) for screening, benchmarking, and buyer identification Candidate Skills/Requirements: Required:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, business or a related field
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, including building and auditing cash flow models
• Demonstrated analytical ability across valuation methods — net asset value, comparable company, precedent transaction
• Clear, concise written and verbal communication, including client-facing presentation experience
• Ability to manage several simultaneous workstreams under deadline, both collaboratively and independently
• FINRA Series 79 and 63 registration, or willingness to obtain
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Preferred:

• Energy sector experience, particularly upstream A&D or E&P
• Experience preparing client deliverables such as CIMs, management presentations and board materials
• Comfort adopting AI tools and new technology in day-to-day work
