Overview Registered Nurse - Oncology (Radiation Oncology) in Lawrenceville, GA. This travel - temporary assignment starts 09/28/2026 for 14 weeks with 40 guaranteed hours per week. Shifts are 10-hour days across four days per week (10x4), typically 7am-5pm with some variation. No local candidates within 50 miles. Key Highlights Weekly pay: 2,018 to 2,177 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 per week Contract duration: 14 weeks Shift: 10-hour days, four days per week (10x4) Start date: 09/28/2026 Setting: Radiation Oncology service line Eligibility note: No local candidates within 50 miles Responsibilities Provide direct nursing care for oncology patients receiving radiation therapy and chemotherapy as indicated Administer chemotherapy and related medications per protocol; monitor for adverse reactions and manage symptoms Monitor patient status, perform assessments, track vitals, and document in the medical record Collaborate with the radiation oncology team, including physicians, dosimetrists, and therapists, to develop and adjust care plans Ensure safe medication handling and administration, including chemo safety guidelines and infection control practices Respond to clinical changes, manage emergencies, and educate patients and families on treatment expectations, procedures, and symptom management Requirements Current and active RN license in Georgia Minimum 2 years of recent experience in oncology, with exposure to radiation oncology preferred BLS and ACLS certification (AHA) Chemotherapy certification and ability to administer chemotherapy Ability to work in a radiation oncology setting and follow strict safety and regulatory guidelines Availability to work major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day) and one minor holiday (the Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year’s Eve) Benefits and Support Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment 24/7 assistance for emergencies and scheduling Credentialing coordination to facilitate on-boarding Access to ongoing nationwide assignments and assignment support through the staffing partner Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
