Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU - Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Woodruff, Wisconsin. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/07/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel Job Summary: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position located in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing specialized patient care in a 10-bed unit with a focus on critical and intermediate care. The position offers rotation between day and night shifts, with a commitment of 36 hours per week, and requires flexibility to float to other units as needed. Job Details Schedule: Rotating shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week Required Qualifications: WI Registered Nurse (RN) License, Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), associate degree or certificate, at least 1 year of experience, location outside a 50-mile radius from the facility, experience with electronic charting preferred Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, two years of experience, previous travel assignment preferred Float: Float to other units including Rhinelander, Eagle River, and Tomahawk; float assignments will be prescheduled On Call/Call Back: Can be on call with a minimum of 2 hours back, low census periods, or unit closure during holidays Weekend/Holiday: Every other weekend and holiday rotation required Additional Information: The position begins ASAP and runs through 12/05/2026. The unit has a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:2 in ICU and 1:3-1:4 in intermediate care. Charting is preferred in EPIC. During flu season, vaccination is mandatory or mask-wearing is required if declined, per hospital policy.
