Registered Nurse - Nursing

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required at time of hire
• Additional certifications may be required depending on the unit assigned
• Acute care facility experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated shift
• Prescribe nursing care based on the nursing process consistent with the medical plan
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members
• Coordinate the delivery of patient care across various age groups
• Incorporate patient education and discharge planning into care
• Delegate aspects of patient care based on staff competencies and state regulations
