The Larson Warehouse Manager ensures excellent customer services is provided by managing all aspects of a warehouse team by motivating team members, executing SOP’s daily, providing a clean and safe working environment with proper certifications, and provide a high level of customer satisfaction for all internal and external customers. Primary Responsibilities Strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision. Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations. Includes supply ordering Maintenance and inspection of racking and equipment Setup layout and ensure efficient space utilization. Initiate, coordinate and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures. Adhere to all warehousing, handling and shipping legislation requirements. Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security. Liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies. Plan work, assign tasks appropriately and appraise results. Recruit, aid in selection, orient, coach and motivate employees. Job will be responsible for 4-8 employee’s depending on peak season. 2-3 Drivers 2-4 Warehouse Attendants/Specialists/Leads Job will have quarterly conversations that will include employee development and feedback to the employee that will ultimately role up to their annual review and compensation. Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided. This role will have direct responsibility for performance management, documentation of positive and negative behaviors. This position will help training new employees across the footprint that will allow a consistent training standard for warehouse leadership employees/leads etc. They will help partner with training and development team to create documents and best practices to help the company move forward with the culture of process orientation. Continuous improvement team – This position will help assist the company of forming a team of process driven individuals as well as being a part of visiting branches and helping jumpstart process improvement in those branches. Skills/ Qualifications Commitment to excellent customer service. Able to prioritize responsibilities, demonstrated time-management and organizational skills in a fast-paced environment. Able to analyze and interpret professional journals, legal reports, state and federal regulations. Individual must possess research, analysis and evaluation skills. Effective Team Player, ability to lead, demonstrates confidentiality, and takes initiative. Able to make decisions. Individual must be flexible with changes in work schedule, willing to work overtime and be on-call occasionally on weekends. Education/Experience Previous supervisory or leadership experience of a team is required Must have experience driving lift equipment and comfortable teaching and maintaining the equipment. HVAC/R Industry experience and/or knowledge helpful, but not required. Good command of Microsoft Office applications. Other Skills/Abilities Individual must be able to meet mobility requirements which include walking, standing, reaching, leaning forward, bending, climbing, and able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds. Must be skilled in verbal and written communication and have sufficient education to read, write, speak and understand English. Must have basic math skills and able to perform or learn the requirements of the job within the assigned learning period. Required to accept and follow all safety rules and policies, including the use of all mandated safety protective equipment.
