JOB SUMMARY Seeking a Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) to work at an Acute Care Hospital's Operating Room. Key Responsibilities Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures. Sterilize and maintain surgical instruments and equipment. Assist surgeons and surgical teams during operations. Anticipate the needs of the surgical team. Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures. Provide direct assistance to the surgeon by handling instruments, supplies, and equipment. Perform other related duties as assigned. Schedule / Shift 4x10 Shift Required Qualifications Minimum 2 years of experience as a Certified Surgical Technologist. Scrubbing experience required. Inpatient experience required. First-time credentialed candidates are not accepted. BLS certification required. Must be able to float to the main facility as needed. Experience General Surgery Orthopedics Ortho/Spine Ortho/Total Joints Urology Endoscopic/Laparoscopic Surgery Vascular Surgery Gynecology Abdominal Hysterectomy C-sections Dilation & Curettage Laparoscopic Assisted Gynecological Procedures Vaginal Hysterectomy Preferred Qualifications Ophthalmology Plastics Podiatry ENT Robotic Assisted Gynecological Procedures SPD experience preferred Outpatient experience preferred Certifications NBSTSA or NCCT EMR / Systems EPIC Patient Population Adult surgical patients. Unit / Specialty Operating Room (OR) Outpatient Surgery Center Pavilion Floating / On-Call Required to float to the main facility as needed. Call is not required, but volunteering to pick up call shifts may be an option. Special Requirements Experience with Da Vinci Xi robotic system. #J-18808-Ljbffr
