Contract | Nights (3x12 Hours, 19:00–07:00) | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a telemetry unit serving an adult to geriatric population with a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:4–5
• Monitor and manage patients with diagnoses including CHF, MI/chest pain (pre- and post-cath), dysrhythmias (pre- and post-device implants), hypo-/hypertension, pleural effusion, sepsis, and PE/DVT/vascular issues
• Utilize Epic for electronic health record documentation and Pyxis for medication management
• Communicate effectively using SBAR methodology with interdisciplinary team members
• Float within the facility and within scope of practice as needed
• Work every other weekend and fulfill holiday obligations per assignment schedule

Required Qualifications

• Active RN licensure in Georgia or a Compact state
• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience; first-time travelers accepted
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficiency with Epic (required)
• All requested time off must be finalized at time of submission; no schedule changes permitted post-offer or post-onsite
• Full compliance with onboarding requirements; core items and labs must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing, with all compliance documents due the Tuesday prior to start

Preferred Experience / Skills

• NIH stroke scale certification preferred
• Prior experience in a telemetry or cardiac step-down unit setting
