Job Overview Radiology Cardiology Cath Lab Tech – Bestica, Seattle, WA. Eligibility & Travel Information Perm candidates from non-Swedish provider facilities are eligible for a travel contract if separated for at least 3 months. All Swedish facilities honor active compact license. 3-year experience required. Unit does not accept first-time travelers. On-Call Requirements Call required: Yes – typically 6 evenings and one weekend per 6 weeks. Weekend shifts per contract: typically one weekend per 6 weeks on standby. Must respond within 30 minutes of call back. Systems & Equipment Medication system: Pyxis Documentation system: EPIC McKesson Communication: SBAR Fluoroscopy: Siemens Unit Details Procedures room. Three cath labs, one hybrid OR. Work Settings Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab (REQUIRED) Special procedures (PREFERRED) Required Procedures Cardiac Stent Placement Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult IABP Placement/Removal Impella insertion Left heart catheterization Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) Right heart catheterization Rotablader atherectomy Temporary Pacemaker Ventricular Assist Device Insertion Preferred Procedures Optical Coherence Tomography (OCT) Pulmonary Artery (PA) line insertion Transcatheter Aortic Valve implantation/Replacement (TAVI/TAVR) Watchman Equipment and Devices Procedural Responsibilities (REQUIRED) Accurate monitoring Equipment set up Perform EKG lead placement Prep access site Recognition of life-threatening arrhythmias Room circulator Scrub – maintain sterile field Vascular closure systems (Perclose StarClose) Professional Knowledge & Skills (REQUIRED) Isolation Precautions Professional Knowledge & Skills (PREFERRED) Use of Rapid Response team Additional Requirements All units with on-call requirements mandate a 30-minute response time.
