Job Title: Respiratory Care Practitioner

Job Type: PRN

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our team. As a Respiratory Care Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing respiratory care services in accordance with specific physician's orders, department policies and procedures. You will work under the supervision of the Respiratory Care Services Medical Director, Department Director, and the Shift Supervisor.

Responsibilities:

- Administer respiratory therapy treatments and procedures in accordance with physician orders and department policies and procedures.

- Evaluate and assess patients' respiratory status and response to therapy.

- Monitor and document patients' progress and response to therapy.

- Educate patients and their families on respiratory care procedures and treatments.

- Maintain and operate respiratory care equipment.

- Participate in the development and implementation of respiratory care plans.

- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.

Requirements:

Requirements:

- Associate's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field.

- Current state license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner.

- BLS and ACLS certification.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
