Inventory Team Lead, Google Store Retail Miami

Team Lead, Inventory – Google Compensation Range: $26.50 – $29.00 per hour. Responsibilities Lead and promote a helpful environment by supporting product flow from receiving to customer purchase. Supervise and execute operational tasks including cycle counts, replenishment, reporting, visual standards, stock flow and stockroom organization. Manage omni‑channel systems including buy online and pick up in store. Manage spare parts inventory and store supply inventory. Process receiving, shipping, transfers including chargebacks and damaged goods. Mentor, train and foster a team environment to deliver customer‑centric operational excellence. Prepare inventory for new product launches and execute visual merchandising directives. Work closely with leadership to anticipate and plan for changing inventory and staffing needs. Meet & greet customers, assist with sales and complete transactions when necessary. Act as the first line to de‑escalate and resolve customer issues. Address and support Inventory associate questions. Adhere to inventory standards and ensure accuracy by identifying and correcting stock variances. Lead stock and teams through the accurate and timely completion of daily inventory tasks. Ensure compliance of all retail inventory processes and maintain stockroom organization and safety standards. Handle all merchandise from receipt to placement, reviewing replenishment and in‑transit reports. Track productivity and ensure the team meets company standards for all visual merchandising tasks. Oversee implementation of all visual merchandising planogram instruction to meet brand standards. Supervise personnel to meet and exceed goals for consumer experience, sales and revenue. Co‑create a work environment that motivates and drives performance. Act as floor leader to ensure consumers receive a world‑class experience. Support the team with consumer interactions and transactions. Coach associates on consumer interaction opportunities and hold them accountable for performance. Resolve fraud issues in coordination with security or finance teams. Partner with management to launch new products, services and processes and review staffing forecasts. Inspect post‑launch performance and drive improvements. Ensure associates are trained on new products and promotions and provide additional coaching as needed. Coordinate with security, facilities and management for smooth product launch execution. Use scheduling tools to staff and meet business needs, including special events. Drive compliance of procedures and policies and ensure timely training completion. Provide the necessary system/tool access for associates. Manage MOD segments per week, maintain integrity, and champion change. Assist management with breaks, opening/closing tasks and attendance accountability. Support management needs and perform other assigned duties. Qualifications 5+ years in high‑volume retail, stockroom, shipping & receiving, or warehouse inventory. 1–3 years of previous leadership experience in telecommunications or consumer services. Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Experience with large consumer electronics stores technology. Passion for leading‑edge technology and product solutions. Strong written and verbal communication; proficient in G‑Suite. Knowledge of standard operating procedures. Experience conducting coaching and positive reinforcement. Ability to motivate a team. Flexible to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Ability to read and interpret schematic diagrams. Bilingual and/or multilingual (English and/or Spanish) is an asset.
