Direct Care Staff About Us:Neulife Rehabilitation (NLR) provides post-acute rehabilitation and residential services for individuals with Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI), Acquired Brain Injury (ABI), Spinal Cord Injuries, and Neurological Disorders.Position Summary:We are seeking a dedicated Direct Care Staff professional with experience supporting individuals with ABI and TBI injurie that wll care for patients in NeuLife' s neurological rehabilitation setting, under direction of nursing and medical staff, by performing the following duties.Key Responsibilities:Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Lifts, turns, moves, positions, and transports clients as appropriate for their conditionAssists clients with baths, showers, personal grooming, feeding, and toiletingFollows NeuLife' s safety policies and procedures when lifting, turning, moving, positioning, or transporting a client or assisting with the client with normal daily activitiesAccurately documents and charts patient care to include vitals and personal interactionsRespond to call lights promptly. Resolves client issue at time of initial responseExhibits excellent customer service and a positive attitude towards clientsAssists in the evacuation of patientsDemonstrates dependable, regular attendance. Arrived to work on time and departs as scheduled. "40 hours or until the job is completed". Demonstrates ability to concentrate and use reasoning skills and good judgmentDemonstrates ability to communicate and function productively on an interdisciplinary teamMust be able to sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, stoop, walk, reach, and move intermittently during working hourswithout restrictionsMust be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
