TITLE: Sr. Electrical EngineerENVIRONMENT: ManufacturingLOCATION: Eden Prairie, MN OnsiteCOMPENSATION RANGE: $90,000.00 - $135,000.00 DOQDEGREE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s DegreeCITIZENSHIP: Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder and able to work for any U.S. Employer EXPERIENCE LEVEL: 6+ years experiencePOSITION SUMMARY: 4 day work week!What You Will be Doing:Senior Engineers will lead the planning, design, and development tools, machines, and accessory products for the HVAC/R markets both for new product introduction and improving on current designs with substantial latitude for unreviewed actions and decisions generally involving the largest and most important work on projects.The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability.Leads other engineers in the design of individual tools and machines including acting as the lead on some projectsEvaluates the progress and results of projects they leadOwns the project level goals involving multiple engineers and helps to break down ambiguous tasks into smaller units, establishing clear milestones for progress measurementMentor Engineer I, II, and IIIs with their projects coaching them through complex issues and problems Provide technical leadership bringing design concepts to production solutions as the subject matter expert in their areaSupports department goals by designing test plans and performing testingProvides advanced production line supportDevelop product specifications for Ritchie Engineering product ideasWorks with vendors to ensure accurate component specifications and dimensional requirements are met upon receiptSupports new production development reporting on work completed at department, new product, and stage gate meetingsTransforms initial rough product designs into working production ready documentsUpdates released production documentation utilizing documented change processesDevelop Bill of Materials that will be entered into business system using ECM ProcessResponsible for interviews, selection, onboarding, time approval, time off calendar management, performance reviews, and addressing performance concerns of up to two direct reportsWhat You Will Bring:Required:Bachelor’s degree in Engineering6 years of progressively demanding experience in new product designUnderstanding of the new product development processKnowledge of lean principles3D CAD KnowledgeElectrical: Experience with low voltage printed circuit board assembly (PCBA) Electrical: Experience with circuit design Electrical: Experience with electronic design automation softwareHighly organized, self-motivated and can work independentlyPreferred:Infor ERP experience EPA 608 CertificationSolidWorks experienceDBWorks or Enterprise PDM experienceElectrical: Experience with electronic design automation software library setupElectrical: Design experience using Bluetooth communicationElectrical: HVAC Sensor experience e.g. pressure, temperature, etc.
