Registered Nurse - Oncology

Job Summary:
Provide expert infusion therapy care to oncology patients in an outpatient clinic setting. Deliver chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments while ensuring adherence to safety protocols and patient comfort.

Responsibilities:

• Administer chemotherapy and biotherapy treatments to oncology patients in a clinical environment.
• Monitor patient responses to infusions and manage any adverse reactions promptly.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient care and treatment progress using Epic electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure individualized patient care plans are followed.
• Comply with all safety standards, including proper handling of hazardous medications.
• Assist in patient education regarding treatment processes and post-infusion care.

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license with a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient infusion or oncology setting.
• Certified in chemotherapy and biotherapy administration.
• Proficient in Epic EMR systems developed within the past 2 years.
• Must have reliable transportation; personal or rental vehicles strongly recommended.
• Ability to work 8-hour days, Monday through Friday, with no weekends required.
• Willing to work 2 out of 4 major holidays, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year’s Day.
