About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: MICU Duration: 14 Weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty required. License: Compact or State License required at time of submission. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS are required. TNCC is preferred. Must-Have: - Trauma/Surgical experience required. - Level 1 Trauma experience required. - PA Lines experience required. - Travel experience preferred in trauma/surgical unit settings. Description: The role requires extensive experience in caring for patients with any type of traumatic injury. Responsibilities include managing ventilated patients and monitoring various specialized lines. Candidates must be able to interpret and manage dysrhythmic conditions. The patient population includes adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Daily responsibilities will involve working collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team. Special procedures may include caring for patients post-cancer surgery, liver transplants, and managing acute injuries. Compliance with certifications such as BLS, ACLS, and relevant competency exams is mandatory. Candidates must be prepared to float within the hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby. It is essential to be aware of previous employment within this facility as rehire eligibility will be checked.
